A new semester is almost here and it can be challenging to be prepared as soon as possible. Do you have all you need before heading back to college? You can go online and find many checklists to help you out but many of these items are useless and will only take up valuable space in your car, your dorm, or your apartment.
We are glad you stopped by! We have products we highly recommend and are necessary while not taking up a lot of space. Limited space means both in your car as well as where you will be living. Be sure to read through our checklist before you take off!
Needed For Eating
You Need A Pot
Feeding yourself is important but finding the right items and food can be difficult when you are on your own. A standard pot is essential to make something quickly and easily while keeping a healthy diet with needed nutrients. A pot is flexible for many different meals. You can boil water or milk or cook a simple meal like pasta or soup.
Get A Waterdrop Filter
If you will be living in a dorm, this might be hard to achieve. On the other hand, if you will be in an apartment you should look into this water filter. It's pretty well known that tap water can have contaminants in the water along with a strong smell of chlorine. If you don't have a water filtering system, you will have to accept buying bottled water. This can be costly and the bottles are not good for our environment.
The Waterdrop D4 reverse osmosis water filtration system can be the solution you are looking for. With 0.0001-micron pore size filtration, it will remove all contaminants larger than that and also removes bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals. Its design and shape will work perfectly in any kitchen.
A Waterdrop Pitcher
This is a great alternative if you are living in a dorm. Just fill the water filter pitcher with tap water and enjoy fresh, safe water without any unwanted tastes. It will give you a multi-stage filter system enabling faster water flow and is offers a 5X longer life span. The Waterdrop water filter pitcher a multiple-stage filtration technology system allowing the pitcher to effectively filter out harmful substances including chlorine, tastes, odors, limescale, metals while retaining beneficial elements.

Our stainless-steel water purifier faucet with the activated carbon block has high performance of chlorine reduction and adopts mineralization filtration media, adding more mineral elements.
Time To Study
A Laptop
At this point, you have no idea the level of paperwork you are going to have coming your way. As a student, a laptop will give you great flexibility to work on your academic assignments anytime and anywhere. You don't have to get crazy, just get a simple laptop to help you during your college years. The laptop you choose could dictate your needs. As an example, a laptop for games is very different from a laptop for your various assignments such as chemistry or writing essays. Just be sure to choose a computer that will fit your needs.
Earphones To Block Out Sounds
Having earphones to block out noises will be critical when you are studying in a library, cafe, on public transportation, or even in the dorm. If you are sharing a dorm or an apartment with other students, you will need earphones approximately 90% of the time. If you are taking a break, you might want headphones to listen to music and not disturb your roommates.
Everyday Living
A Large Bag
A large bag should accommodate all your daily needs for both inside and outside of the college. A sturdy bag should hold your laptop, water bottle, phone, wallet, and even some pens. Probably the most popular and convenient is a backpack. A backpack will hold everything you need and keep your hands free. Other alternatives could be a tote bag or some kind of canvas bag.
A Table Lamp
Dorms are notorious for bad lighting. You need to save your eyes when reading or studying, so get a lamp. Find a lamp that offers both warm and cool lighting to meet your different requirements for studying or other activities. A good table lamp is actually a better choice than a floor lamp.
A Storage Box
Whether you live in a dorm or have an apartment, a storage box is essential to keep your area neat and clean. If your space is limited, you might want to look into different color boxes to store different kinds of items and become organized. With different colors, you will easily find what you are looking for without marking up the boxes.
Sanitizers
Especially due to COVID-19, everyone is stocking up on sanitizers. It doesn't matter if it's in the form of a gel or wipes. You will be able to keep your hands clean and germ-free especially when you are on the go. You can carry a packet in your backpack or your purse.
In A Nutshell
There are many essentials to choose from, not just the items we have listed. Our list is addressing must-have items but can be easily overlooked if you are not aware of them. You should check out lists before you find yourself running out of time. Also, write down items that you need so they stay fresh in your mind.
While forming your list, you should check with your college and/or dorm to find out what items are acceptable and what you cannot bring with you.
