I would love to get this 5-stars, but the instructions do a horrible job of telling you to put the correct hose in the different directions. It should be in bold: if you put the wrong hoses in the wrong in/out, it's a pain to remove them with our bad design using the very thin blue ring with fat fingers. The hoses should have labels as well with IN and OUT. One should never have to remove the hoses over time, so it should not be unclear the first and only time you will do it.
I haven't found anything I dislike about this product. Everything I needed, except tools, was included in the box. I was very impressed with the quality of construction and the quality of the water lines. It was very easy to install and haven't had any problems, so far. This filter replaced a Britta system and truthfully I wished I had found the Waterdrop system first. I ordered the 8,000 Gal/ 12 month filter to start with and I will see if the waterflow slows down any at 11 months at which time it'll be time to order a new filter anyhow. So far I am impressed with this system and hope to stay impressed with it. OH, by the way, yes the taste of the water is great! This is installed in the kitchen and there is a difference in taste between the bathroom and the kitchen.
